June 28-29 - Rt. 1 (Coastal Highway)

The drive down the coast was very interesting.  After we left Muir Woods, everything was engulfed in fog from San Francisco going south.

We drove for two hours on the 28, and decided that we would sleep in the car and continue in the morning when the fog was gone.  Sadly, the fog did not go away completely, but a few hours into our drive, we were able to see some stunning scenery with some unusually low clouds.

On our way to LA, we also stopped at Neverland Ranch.  We were not sure what to expect, but it was a very serious group of fans sitting in front of a blank gate, reminiscing about the life of Michael Jackson.
